Wolfgang Eckardt

Wolfgang Eckardt lives in Bensheim near Wiesbaden, Germany. He is a psychologist with extensive experience of over thirty years of consulting in human resources and organisational development. He is a member of CCinternational for a number of years.

Wolfgang works primarily in the upper and top management level of national and international companies in a broad variety of branches as banking, IT, mining, energy, railway or the automotive sector. He provides a spectrum of consultancy services including executive coaching, management assessment, leadership development, change management and post merger activities.

He started his occupational career as a consultant for organisational development and planning. After some years working for large-scale enterprises he changed from consultancy to line management and worked as head of a number of organisations.

Wolfgang built an institution for child guidance and family therapy, managed the institution for a long period, and worked as a systemic family therapist.

The experience of change in family groups has considerably influenced his understanding and feeling of dynamics in organisations. It provides a new quality of sensitivity, goal-orientation and sustainability to get through to people in order to drive change processes effectively. It extends and enlarges remarkably the conventional tools and procedures of management consulting.

Wolfgang worked as a consultant in a development aid project in Bangladesh and in an EU-Project in Moscow.

For several years he has been focussing on mediation, another very powerful tool to assist people and organisations in conflict management.

Wolfgang speaks German and English.
